Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Alarm Monitoring

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of chemical and petrochemical facility areas, buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access control points; verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor entry, and maintain required logs and documentation in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, and other critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders according to established protocols.
• Observe and report hazards, equipment concerns, policy violations, and suspicious activity to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 6 months of security‑related experience.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment, depending on state and/or local regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
