About the role

As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Area Patrol in Southaven, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas, to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization when required, and assist with directing individuals to appropriate areas.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while communicating relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
