As a Security Guard Full Time NYS Licensed Unarmed Patrol Experienced in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed Security Officer supporting a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment for staff and visitors while responding to routine security-related concerns with professionalism. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and service providers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned areas, building entrances, common spaces, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site requirements, maintaining a professional presence that helps support orderly operations.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Requirements

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
