Security Guard Full Time Property Protection Patrol

About the role

As a Full Time Property Protection Patrol Security Guard in Santa Clara, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom. This unarmed patrol officer role involves conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, monitoring assigned areas, and providing exceptional customer service and communication at a dynamic technology location.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter to identify unauthorized activity, access concerns, and unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Document patrol activity, incidents, and observations through clear and accurate reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal and client representatives.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• At least 21 years of age (18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Guard Card and/or license is preferred.
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$29.30 per hour.

Schedule

• Daytime shifts: 07:00 AM – 07:00 PM
• Days: Monday, Tuesday, Friday
