Security Guard Full Time Patrol Communications
About the role
As a Security Guard Full Time Patrol Communications in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist visitors with professionalism and clear communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to transit passengers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, passenger concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of transit facilities, platforms, stations, parking areas, and surrounding perimeters; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
- Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, facility concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
- Assist with access control, directions, and general information while maintaining a professional presence at public transportation locations.
Requirements
- Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Baton certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A Guard Card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
