Job Description

As a Security Guard Full Time Patrol in Lithia, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service.

What You'll Do

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and emergency personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor access, and report policy violations, suspicious behavior, and maintenance or hazard concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Support Allied Universal and site leadership by completing required reports, maintaining post orders, and following client-directed procedures related to restricted areas, traffic flow, and emergency protocols.

Minimum Requirements

  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
