Security Guard - Full Time - Patrol

About the role

As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol in Shepherdsville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and other assigned locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access in accordance with site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy violations.
• Document incidents, patrol activity, and observations accurately; communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
