About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location in Fort Mill, SC, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help deter incidents, and support access control and alarm response activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, loading docks, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and support visitor, contractor, and delivery check-in procedures in accordance with site requirements.
  • Document patrol activity, incidents, observations, and shift information accurately and communicate relevant details to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$20.27 / hour

  • Wednesday: 06:00 AM - 04:00 PM
  • Thursday: 06:00 AM - 04:00 PM
  • Friday: 06:00 AM - 04:00 PM
