Security Guard - Full Time

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy logistics and distribution location in Ventura, CA. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to all persons on site by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and notifying appropriate site contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouse, distribution, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or operational concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, and delivery drivers while following site access protocols and reporting issues related to credentials, property movement, and/or restricted areas.
• Support daily logistics operations by observing trailer yards, loading and unloading zones, parking areas, and/or common spaces for policy compliance and reporting maintenance, hazard, and/or security-related concerns.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Tuesday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Saturday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sunday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
