Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to healthcare laboratory clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Cook up dispatch communications for security-related officers, supervisors, and site contacts, documenting requests, incidents, and service calls in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintain a watchful eye on incoming calls, alarms, and communications systems, prioritize requests, and relay accurate information to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific escalation and notification protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the healthcare location and perimeter as assigned; working environments and conditions may vary by site.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
