As a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Patrol Compliance in New York, NY, this role provides reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility to earn more by picking up additional shifts.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week, with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and security-related conditions.
• Monitor access to the property, verify visitor and contractor authorization as directed, and report unauthorized entry attempts or policy violations.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications while providing a professional presence throughout the location.

Requirements

• Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
• Be at least 21 years of age (18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles).
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Schedule

Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites.

• Daytime shift: Saturday, 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

Pay

$18.06 - $19.06 per hour
