Security Guard - Bank Patrol
About the role
As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Specialist in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, customers, and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, ATM areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
- Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, law enforcement, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related matters.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
Qualifications
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Schedule
Full Time. Daytime schedule: Monday 08:45 AM - 05:15 PM, Tuesday 08:45 AM - 05:15 PM, Wednesday 08:45 AM - 05:15 PM, Thursday 08:45 AM - 05:15 PM, Friday 08:45 AM - 06:15 PM, Saturday 09:45 AM - 01:45 PM.
