Job Description

As a Security Officer in Deer Park, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and help support a secure environment through visible presence and attentive communication.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and document entries, exits, and deliveries according to site protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and/or policy concerns.
• Support screening and inspection processes for people, vehicles, and materials entering or leaving the location in alignment with access requirements and site rules.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A TSA issued TWIC is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
