Security Guard

Responsibilities

• Makes hourly rounds to check trailer temps, room temps, and gates.
• Monitors all associates entering and exiting the building, including car traffic.
• Weights trailers in and out using the scale.
• Answers switchboard calls after hours.
• Bills loads according to company procedures.
• Follows and implements company policies.
• Inspects trailers for cleanliness and operability.
• Receives shipments of supplies and raw materials.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Strong computer skills preferred.
• Ability to walk more than one mile on varying terrain in all weather conditions and up/down stairs.
• Ability to perform assigned tasks without direct supervision.
• Effective communication skills under stress.
• Attention to detail.
• Professional attitude.
• Ability to work any shift.
• Security experience a plus.
