About the Role
An OTC Cashier contributes to the Out of the Closet mission by presenting a friendly, helpful face to shoppers, donors, people seeking testing, or pharmacy patrons. This role involves ringing up sales, answering customers’ questions, and providing standout service to enhance AHF’s reputation and encourage repeat business. Strong sales performance increases AHF’s ability to serve more clients, while precision in handling cash and credit purchases protects AHF and maximizes revenue.
The cashier also supports fellow team members by being friendly, helpful, and offering assistance when needed. Providing feedback to managers about service improvements allows the cashier to further contribute to the team’s success. Flexibility and adaptability to various situations are key to adding consistent value to the Out of the Closet team.
Responsibilities
- Ring up sales and process cash/credit transactions accurately.
- Provide friendly, helpful service to shoppers, donors, and pharmacy patrons.
- Answer customer questions and enhance their experience to encourage repeat visits.
- Support team members by offering assistance and maintaining a positive attitude.
- Provide feedback to managers on improving service and operations.
