About the role

As an Armed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Your professionalism and experience will support patients, visitors, and staff in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including building interiors, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor for unusual activity, unauthorized access, and security-related concerns, and document observations, incidents, and actions taken in accordance with site procedures.
• Assist with directing visitors, supporting access management, and maintaining a professional presence that helps to deter unauthorized activity.

Requirements

• Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and a baton is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$22.88 / hour

• Saturday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sunday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
