Security Guard Armed Patrol Driver

About the role

As a Security Guard Armed Patrol Driver Part Time in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and Level III Armed Certification. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the retail location, parking areas, entrances, loading areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe customer, employee, and vendor activity; report suspicious behavior, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
• Complete accurate reports and maintain required documentation related to patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.

Requirements

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Hold a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Pay

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Schedule

• Monday: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM
• Tuesday: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM
• Thursday: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM
• Friday: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM
