Job Description As a Security Guard Armed Patrol Driver in Inver Grove Heights, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to site needs. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and armed guard card/license. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $25.60 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeMon06:00 PM - 02:00 AMTue06:00 PM - 02:00 AMWed06:00 PM - 02:00 AMFri06:00 AM - 04:00 PMSun09:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at a utility location.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, perimeter areas, and other designated locations; report unusual conditions, damaged property, and potential hazards.Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site policies; maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and incident documentation as required.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders according to established procedures.Help to deter unauthorized activity through a professional presence, observation, and timely reporting of suspicious behavior or conditions to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision. Minimum Requirements Possess a valid armed guard card or license.A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
