Security Guard Armed Clearance Required Patrol

About the role

As an Armed Security Officer supporting a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while working with integrity and teamwork in a critical environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Maintain required firearms qualifications and follow all applicable laws, client requirements, and Allied Universal policies for armed posts.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• At least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$29.72 / hour

Schedule

• Part Time
• Saturday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sunday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
