Armed Security Officer - Clearance Required Patrol

About the Role

Allied Universal® is seeking an Armed Security Officer (Clearance Required) for a part‑time position in San Antonio, TX, serving an aerospace and defense location. The role involves conducting routine armed patrols, providing customer service, and supporting a secure, mission‑focused environment.

Pay

$26.53 per hour.

Schedule

Daytime shifts: Friday 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM, Saturday 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM, Sunday 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials as assigned, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to site leadership.
• Carry assigned equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal procedures, and site‑specific policies.

Minimum Requirements

• Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Valid driver’s license (required per Allied Universal driver policy).
• Level III Armed Guard Card in Texas.
• Guard Card or license preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen as required by law.
• Participation in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment, subject to state and/or local laws.
