Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain accurate entry and departure records in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly reporting observations through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Support the protection of sensitive business operations by following controlled-access procedures and documenting incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities.

Requirements

• Possess an active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.

Daytime: Monday 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM, Thursday 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM, Friday 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
