Security Guard- Armed

About the role

As a Security Officer – Surveillance, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalate in environments such as a security operations centers, call centers, parking gatehouses, etc. You will need to have strong observation skills with attention to detail, capturing every detail as you scan a series of screens.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
• Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Level 3 Armed Security License
• Ability to provide own equipment (Weapon, Duty Belt, 2 pairs of cuffs and 2 non-lethal items)
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Valid driver's license with no restriction B and clean driving record
• Demonstrate a stable work history
• Have reliable transportation
• Able to climb stairs, walk, stand, and sit for long periods of time
• Computer Skills/ Social Skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Data Entry)
• Ability and willingness to work at odd hours and under pressure
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations
• Responsive and strong problem-solving skills
