Job Description
As an Airport Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Kailua Kona, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic government airport location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support travelers and staff with outstanding customer service and communication.

$22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $1.96. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

Requirements
- Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
- 21+ years of age
- Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
- Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to visitors, travelers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a government transportation location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and nearby surroundings for unauthorized access, suspicious behavior, and/or unattended items, and report observations according to post orders.
- Document incidents, patrol activity, and noteworthy observations in required logs and/or reports, and follow Allied Universal procedures for escalating concerns.
Minimum Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
