Security Gatehouse Officer
About the Role
As a Security professional, you are among the most valued associates at our properties. Your presence and knowledge reassure both residents and guests that the safety and security of the property is being properly cared for by a dedicated and detail-oriented associate.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring and operating electric and manual security control systems and emergency response systems.
- Accurately maintaining daily logs, records, and forms.
- Responding to emergency situations in a timely manner.
- Following safety procedures and striving to maintain a safe work environment.
- Patrolling, walking the property, and managing the gatehouse.
- Reporting all property violations.
Requirements
- Possess and maintain a Class D Security license.
- Possess and maintain a valid Florida Driver’s License.
- Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.

- Critical thinking, problem-solving, judgment, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to maintain positivity and diplomacy in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact and communicate successfully with residents and team members.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in various positions, including but not limited to stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling, and squatting for extended periods of time.
- Ability to climb stairs and navigate the property/building quickly and easily as required.
- Ability to repeat various motions with the wrists, hands, and fingers.
- Ability to work extended and flexible hours and weekends as needed.
Schedule
Monday to Friday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Pay
$20.00 per hour.
