About the role
Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic aero and defense location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations in accordance with post instructions.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, controlled areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and report access control issues or suspicious activity to site leadership.
- Support compliance with location rules for restricted areas, vehicle access, and/or after-hours activity while maintaining professionalism and clear communication with all personnel on site.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Previous experience with Fire Suppression systems is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Must pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Must be willing to undergo a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licenses and certifications may be required prior to employment.
