About the role

This role serves as the technical bridge between Design Engineering and shop floor operations, ensuring products are manufacturable, scalable, and delivered on schedule. Through process innovation, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement, this role drives operational efficiency, product reliability, and successful deployment of manufacturing technologies supporting high-complexity, low-volume equipment manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for complex capital equipment and mechanical systems.
  • Collaborate with Design Engineering to translate product specifications into manufacturable processes.
  • Ensure products are manufacturable, scalable, and delivered on schedule through process innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Drive operational efficiency, product reliability, and successful deployment of manufacturing technologies in high-complexity, low-volume equipment manufacturing environments.
  • Work closely with shop floor operations to ensure seamless integration of new manufacturing processes.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve manufacturing processes and reduce defects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or related field.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, tooling, and automation.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software tools.

Qualifications

  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of quality management systems and ISO standards.
  • Experience with process mapping and value stream analysis.
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements in manufacturing environments.
