Security Field Supervisor

Duties and Responsibilities

• Makes sure armed patrols, mounted, and on-foot patrols are being done correctly.
• Monitors and stands guard at designated locations to ensure emergencies, security, and safety issues are noticed and reported.
• Ensures the depot and its property are secure and safe.
• Monitors individuals and vehicles entering restricted areas to make sure they comply with standard operating procedures.
• Responds to alarms and observes situations to protect property and personnel.
• Assists in containing spills and discharges that may contain hazardous substances or explosives.
• Performs vehicle and foot patrols around the depot and other assigned locations.
• Checks for compliance with standard operational procedures and maintains constant visual observation of the depot.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 21 years old.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to stand for long periods.
• Computer literate in common software applications and able to operate general office equipment.
• Able to wear a Full-Face APR (M40, North, etc.).
• Maintains fitness-for-duty standards.
• Maintains PILB certification.
• Able to obtain and maintain Hawthorne Army Depot (HWAD) site access.
• Able to obtain and maintain a Secret level clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• One year supervisor experience preferred.

Security Clearance

This position is designated as a safety-sensitive position and is subject to the requirements of the HWAD Medical Surveillance Plan and Matrix and the HWAD A&D Program. As a condition of employment, candidates and incumbents must favorably complete a personnel security investigation, drug testing, medical exam, and respiratory screening, and must meet and maintain personnel suitability and reliability requirements established by 29 CFR and Army Regulations: AR 190-11, AR 190-13 and DOD Contractors Safety Manual 4145.26.

Compensation Details

$73,000 to $78,000. The compensation range or hourly rate listed for this position is provided as a good-faith estimate of what the company intends to offer for this role at the time this posting was issued. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as job responsibilities, education, experience, skills, internal equity, market data, applicable collective bargaining agreements, and relevant laws.
