Security Field Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Visit assigned post locations on a regular basis to monitor performance, address daily operations issues, communicate policy changes or company information, adjust staffing schedules as needed, and make post inspections.
• Conduct on-the-job training of new employees or when changes to post orders are made, including orientation to the post, review of post orders, routine responsibilities, and how to respond to emergency situations or specific client needs.
• Respond to call-offs during the shift, identify replacements, assist with scheduling, and assist the Scheduler with managing call-offs or other changes.
• Identify and report personnel problems to Operations Manager and/or Corporate Human Resources Director, and assist with investigations or counseling/disciplinary actions as directed.
• Distribute information to posts as directed by Branch or Corporate office, communicate information to Security Officers, obtain signed acknowledgements, and return documents to Branch or Corporate office.
• Respond to client or site emergencies as they arise, ensuring appropriate communication to Operations and/or Branch Manager.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Licenses and certifications required based on state and local laws and regulations.
• At least one year of driving experience with a valid driver’s license, no major violations within the last 36 months, no more than one at-fault accident in the last 24 months, and no more than one minor moving violation in the last 24 months.
• Three (3) years of professional protective service (e.g., security) experience.
• Writing ability and good independent judgment and discretion.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to take initiative, handle multiple assignments, and manage deadlines.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with at least one year of driving experience.
• Must have no major violations within the last 36 months, no more than one at-fault accident in the last 24 months, and no more than one minor moving violation in the last 24 months.
• Must have three (3) years of professional protective service (e.g., security) experience.
• Preferred qualifications include experience in scheduling, operations management, or other leadership functions of the security industry, prior experience in the security industry, law enforcement, and/or military, and working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
