Security Dispatch

Responsibilities

• Receive emergency and nonemergency phone or radio calls
• Dispatch security officers to emergency and nonemergency calls around the property utilizing the computer and radio systems
• Timely and accuracy of the daily key reports by shift
• Maintain the safety of guests, team members, and security officers
• Monitor the fire alarm system for the property
• Adhere to departmental and company policies and procedures regarding guest service standards
• Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism in all company matters
• Provide superior guest experience through consistent, positive interaction
• Knowledgeable of applicable state laws, gaming regulations and security standard operating procedures
• Able to navigate other computer applications that are applicable
• Maintain a level of composure during stressful situations
• Able to affectively record information while receiving communications through phone or radio
• Able to make sound judgments and think critically in emergency situations
• Able to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive approach to dealing with critical situations
• Able to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization
• Able to work shift in team environment

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in a guest service-related field required

Qualifications

Written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to sustain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.

Experience in a dispatch environment preferred.

Active listening skills.

Sound judgment and critical thinking are a must.

Advanced knowledge of procedures and guidelines for emergency situations.

Able to work shift in team environment.

Skills

Ability to navigate other computer applications that are applicable.

Pay

Starting Salary: $22.00 to $23.00 per hour
