Security Attendant (Driver)

About the role

The Security Attendant (Driver) is a crucial position at Great Wolf Lodge, responsible for ensuring the safety of guests, staff, and property.

Responsibilities

• Maintains security and safety of the hotel, guests, staff, and property
• Fills in security-related job assignments
• Runs routine inspections of the hotel premises
• Operates lodge shuttle/van to transport lodge staff between lodge and off-site housing
• Acts promptly in the event of a circumstance requiring attention
• Assists management in dealing with incidents that arise within the hotel and documents events
• Follows Occupational Health & Safety rules
• Projects a professional and confident image
• Remains composed and behaves professionally during emotionally charged or stressful situations
• Provides guest service in every interaction with guests at the resort
• Manages risk and uses contingency plans to face uncertainty and adapt to change
• Sorts through conflicting perspectives without taking sides

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience managing extensive closed circuit television arrays
• Valid driver's license
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screen

Qualifications

• Law enforcement background preferred
• First responder training preferred

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time

Pay

Pay rate: $17.00/hr. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of Great Wolf’s total compensation package. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and other perks.
