About the role

DK Security is Michigan’s fastest growing security company, established in 1995. We started as an investigations firm but now provide a wide range of services including uniform security, event staff security, loss prevention, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide above excellent customer service.
• Have above average computer skills.
• Use multiple applications daily to assist callers with emergencies, security, and general assistance.
• Dispatch personnel for emergency and non-emergency responses following procedures and policies.
• Monitor CCTV systems, perform daily checks, and report maintenance needs.
• Operate and test various computerized and electronic security equipment.
• Create and maintain reports and files.
• Multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Follow site-specific post guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Good moral character, passing a criminal background check without felony or certain misdemeanor convictions.
• Pass a drug test at hire and annually thereafter.
• A friendly, positive, professional appearance.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Read and write in English, interpret documents, and understand safety rules, operating procedures, maintenance instructions, and reports.
• A clean driving record with less than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years, less than 2 at-fault accidents in the last 3 years, and no other major violations in the last 3 years.
• Physically and mentally sound, able to use hands and fingers, reach, sit, stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, and respond to emergency situations.
• Work in or outdoors during all seasons, hear conversations in noisy environments, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

Pay

$15.00 to $19.54 per hour.

Schedule

Part-Time (Some sites may offer full-time hours).
