About the role

DK Security is Michigan’s fastest growing security company, established in 1995. We started as an investigations firm but now provide a wide range of services including uniform security, event staff security, loss prevention, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide above excellent customer service.
• Have above average computer skills.
• Use multiple applications daily for emergency, security, and general assistance needs.
• Dispatch personnel for emergency and non-emergency responses according to procedures.
• Uphold compliance for regulatory needs by following procedures and policies.
• Maintain CCTV systems by checking their functionality and reporting maintenance needs.
• Operate, test, and perform data entry responsibilities for various computerized and electronic security systems.
• Create and maintain reports and files, assist in additional updates, and adhere to site-specific post guidelines.
• Multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Follow all site-specific post guidelines and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Good moral character with a clear criminal background check.
• Pass a drug test at the time of hire and annually thereafter.
• A friendly, positive, and professional appearance.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and interpret documents in English.
• Reliable transportation with a clean driving record.
• Physical ability to sit, stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, and respond to emergency situations.
• Ability to hear conversations in noisy environments.

Pay

$17 to $19 per hour.

Schedule

Local Academy: 1 part-time shift Monday through Wednesday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM and Thursday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Local State Government Building: 1 part-time shift on Wednesday from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM and Thursday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
