Security Armed Shift Supervisor

About the role

The Armed Security Shift Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating the delivery of quality services on a specific shift at an assigned customer. This role acts as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coach staff on assigned shift
• Provide recognition and discipline within approved empowerment range
• Communicate staffing needs on shift to Account Manager or Operations Manager
• Ensure officers receive appropriate training in technical and professional skills
• Assure employee grievances are addressed with help from appropriate HR support
• Administer Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and safety programs
• Maintain appropriate inventories and maintenance checklists for uniforms, equipment, and vehicles
• Manage uniforms, equipment, and supplies for the account
• Assist Account or Operations Manager in managing uniforms, equipment, and supplies
• Communicate with Account or Operations Manager regarding staffing needs
• Assure compliance with corporate procedures and safety protocols
• Handle crisis situations at the client site with calmness and efficiency
• Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds
• Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift
• Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time

Qualifications/Requirements

• At least 21 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
• Licenses and certifications are subject to state and local laws and regulations
• Intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Able to work in various environments, including cold weather, rain/snow, or heat
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally
• Able to climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift
• Able to stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time

Pay

$27.95 per hour, paid weekly with benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401k, and life insurance.
