Pay Rate
$39.00 -$40.00 / Hour
Job Schedule
Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or faculty by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an educational location.
- Respond to incidents, critical situations, and/or alarms in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout campus buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations, remaining aware of unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive behavior.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access when required, and support visitor management practices in accordance with site-specific protocols and applicable post orders.
- Aid in emergency and after-hours situations, provide clear communication during medical, behavioral, and/or security-related events, and support a professional presence across varying environments and conditions.
Minimum Requirements
- Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
- Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
- Have 2 or more years of law enforcement, military, and/or corrections experience or a college degree.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
