Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for personnel, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with site requirements.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
