Security and Emergency Management Analyst

Responsibilities

• Support the development, maintenance, and implementation of emergency management plans, procedures, and response documentation.
• Aid in emergency preparedness activities, drills, tabletop exercises, functional exercises, and after-action reviews.
• Participate in Emergency Operations Center (EOC) activations and incident management activities.
• Support Incident Command System (ICS) implementation and emergency response coordination efforts.
• Track corrective actions and improvement plans resulting from exercises, incidents, and audits.
• Assist with emergency notifications, situational awareness reporting, and incident documentation.
• Coordinate with local, state, federal, and industry emergency management partners.
• Maintain emergency response resources, contact lists, and readiness documentation.
• Support physical security programs designed to safeguard personnel, facilities, critical infrastructure, vehicles, and company assets.
• Administer and oversee access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, visitor management, and other security technologies.
• Conduct facility security assessments and security surveys.
• Support security incident response activities and security investigations.
• Monitor and analyze security threats, vulnerabilities, and emerging risk trends.
• Develop and maintain security procedures, standards, and operational guidelines.
• Collaborate with contract security personnel and security service providers.
• Plan for security during high-profile events, executive protection support activities, and special operations as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with a preference for those in communications, public relations, security management, emergency management, risk management or related field.
• Experience in security, crisis management, or emergency management preferred.
