About the role

The Security Account Manager supports day-to-day security operations at assigned site. Key responsibilities include monitoring guard performance, ensuring procedures are followed, assisting with incident reports, and maintaining a safe environment.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other company personnel
  • Ensure all post orders are followed and rounds are completed
  • File required reports and notify authorities in emergencies
  • Coach and discipline personnel as necessary
  • Train Security Officers and other company personnel
  • Prepare and submit various reports as required
  • Inspect posts and meet with subordinates to outline tasks and responsibilities
  • Meet with client representatives to ensure security requirements are met
  • Perform supervisory duties as directed, including interviewing, orienting, and training employees
  • May perform duties of a Security Officer as per post orders and company policy

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in retail preferred

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of security operations with an emphasis on patrol, inspection, and response services
  • Knowledge of supervisory practices and procedures
  • Ability to provide positive direction and motivate performance
  • Understanding of security and safety devices and controls
  • Ability to learn quickly and carry out instructions
  • Ability to track and maintain schedule assignments
  • Ability to be an effective team member
  • Ability to maintain professional composure in stressful situations

  • Strong interpersonal skills, including courteous telephone manner
  • Ability to adapt to various sites and changes in post procedures
