About the role
The Security Account Manager supports day-to-day security operations at assigned site. Key responsibilities include monitoring guard performance, ensuring procedures are followed, assisting with incident reports, and maintaining a safe environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other company personnel
- Ensure all post orders are followed and rounds are completed
- File required reports and notify authorities in emergencies
- Coach and discipline personnel as necessary
- Train Security Officers and other company personnel
- Prepare and submit various reports as required
- Inspect posts and meet with subordinates to outline tasks and responsibilities
- Meet with client representatives to ensure security requirements are met
- Perform supervisory duties as directed, including interviewing, orienting, and training employees
- May perform duties of a Security Officer as per post orders and company policy
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in retail preferred
Qualifications
- Knowledge of security operations with an emphasis on patrol, inspection, and response services
- Knowledge of supervisory practices and procedures
- Ability to provide positive direction and motivate performance
- Understanding of security and safety devices and controls
- Ability to learn quickly and carry out instructions
- Ability to track and maintain schedule assignments
