Securities Operations Associate - PNS

About This Role

Wells Fargo is seeking a highly motivated Securities Operations Associate to join the Purchase and Sales team within Trade Support. In this role, you will support the custodial prime brokerage business by managing account coding, monitoring operational reports, and processing client billing entries. This position also offers cross-training in trade comparisons and reconciliation activities, enabling you to provide coverage and support across the team as needed.

Required Qualifications

• 6+ months of Securities Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications

• Strong understanding of our order flows and the overall lifecycle of an order and financial instrument structures
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow documented procedures
• Analytical skills with the ability to identify issues and escalate appropriately
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with standard business applications (e.g., Excel, internal systems)
• Demonstrated sense of ownership and accountability for assigned responsibilities
• Curiosity and willingness to learn complex processes and regulatory concepts
• Structured, analytical approach to problem-solving, including basic root-cause analysis
• Ability to interpret, consolidate, and document information from multiple sources
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Risk conscious with an understanding of downstream and upstream impacts while applying a regulatory lens

Job Expectations

• Ability to work a hybrid schedule (8:00am-4:30pm), three (3) days in office and two (2) days remote; location: 2801 Market St, F & L Bldg, Saint Louis, MO 63103
