About the role
Husch Blackwell LLP is a national law firm with multiple locations across the United States, dedicated to our clients and the industries they serve. We have an immediate opening for a Section 337 Litigation Associate with (preferably) three to six years of experience practicing before the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC). We will consider candidates for any of our offices including our virtual office, The Link.
Responsibilities
- Work primarily with attorneys in our Technology, Manufacturing & Transportation business unit
- Articulate legal strategies and courses of action
- Effectively handle multiple projects under pressure
Requirements
- Three to six years of experience practicing before the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC)
- Participation in at least two Section 337 ITC cases
- Keen familiarity with ITC-specific issues such as domestic industry, remedies, enforcement, and the Commission's Rules of Practice and Procedure
- Knowledgeable of IP law (technical background not required)
- Excellent academic credentials
- Superior interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated record of working well under pressure
- Exceptional judgment
- Active bar license in the state corresponding with the office to which you are applying or commitment to obtain one as soon as possible

Pay
- Compensation range for California, Colorado, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Washington, and Washington, D.C.: $215,000 to $250,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience
- Salaries in all other markets will vary depending on market data
- Associates are eligible for an Associate Performance Bonus and Client Development Bonus
