Section 337 Litigation Associate
About the role
Husch Blackwell LLP, a national law firm with multiple locations across the United States, seeks a Section 337 Litigation Associate with three to six years of experience practicing before the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC). The ideal candidate will have participated in at least two Section 337 ITC cases and be keenly familiar with ITC-specific issues such as domestic industry, remedies, enforcement, and the Commission’s Rules of Practice and Procedure. While a technical background is not required, the candidate should be knowledgeable of IP law.
This role will work primarily with attorneys in our Technology, Manufacturing & Transportation business unit.
Responsibilities
- Handle Section 337 ITC litigation, including issues related to domestic industry, remedies, enforcement, and the Commission’s Rules of Practice and Procedure
- Articulate legal strategies and courses of action
- Manage multiple projects effectively under pressure
Requirements
- Active bar license in the state corresponding with the office to which you are applying, or commitment to obtain one as soon as possible
- Participation in at least two Section 337 ITC cases
- Familiarity with ITC-specific legal issues
- Knowledge of IP law
- Excellent academic credentials
- Superior interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work well under pressure
- Exceptional judgment and ability to handle multiple projects

Pay
For positions in California, Colorado, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Washington, and Washington, D.C., the compensation range is $215,000 to $250,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Salaries in all other markets will vary depending on local market data.
