Section 337 Litigation Associate
Husch Blackwell LLP is a national law firm with multiple locations across the United States, dedicated to our clients and the industries they serve. We have an immediate opening for a Section 337 Litigation Associate in any of our offices, including our virtual office, The Link.
About the role
The candidate will work primarily with attorneys in our Technology, Manufacturing & Transportation business unit. The ideal candidate will have excellent academic credentials, a commitment to the community, superior interpersonal skills, and a demonstrated record of working well under pressure. We look for proactive, dynamic, and entrepreneurial individuals with varied backgrounds, interests, and experience for a diverse candidate pool.
Responsibilities
- Participate in Section 337 ITC cases, demonstrating familiarity with ITC-specific issues such as domestic industry, remedies, enforcement, and the Commission’s Rules of Practice and Procedure.
- Articulate legal strategies and courses of action effectively.
- Handle multiple projects under pressure with exceptional judgment.
Requirements
- Three to six years of experience practicing before the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC), with participation in at least two Section 337 ITC cases.
- Knowledgeable of IP law (technical background not required).
- Active bar license in the state corresponding with the office to which you are applying or commitment to obtain one as soon as possible.

Pay
Pursuant to applicable state laws, the compensation range for this position is:
- $215,000 to $250,000 in California, Colorado, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Washington, and Washington, D.C., commensurate with qualifications and experience.
- Salaries in all other markets will vary depending on market data.
