Secretary III - 8.0 hours per day at Beaumont High School
Beaumont Unified School District is located in the scenic San Gorgonio Pass, between Palm Springs and Southern California’s Inland Empire. The district supports the communities of Beaumont, Cherry Valley, and portions of Calimesa and Banning, serving over 12,000 students across seven elementary schools (TK-5), one TK-8, two middle schools, a comprehensive high school (9-12), one middle college high school, one alternative school, an extensive home education program, and a large adult education program.
About the Role
Under supervision, with some latitude for independent action, serves as secretary and receptionist to the Principal. Performs a variety of difficult and responsible clerical work, prepares reports, composes and types correspondence, and provides public relations and communication services.

Requirements
- Three years of responsible and varied secretarial experience
- Preferably one year of experience in an educational setting
- Proof of high school graduation (transcripts, diploma, or equivalent)
Experience Credit: A maximum of two years may be granted for experience outside the Beaumont Unified School District. External new hires may start at a maximum of $29.65 per hour (Range 17/Step 4).
Pay
Pay range: $26.35 – $36.07 per hour.
Schedule
- 242 workdays per year
- Monday through Friday
- 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
