Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and product owners to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.
- Serve as a liaison between government clients and the technical delivery team to ensure alignment of requirements with program objectives.
- Support ServiceNow platform enhancements, including workflow automation, data integrity, and integration with other enterprise systems.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) and assist in maintaining product backlogs and user stories.
- Support Scrum Master duties as needed—facilitating communication, removing blockers, and ensuring sprint goals are met.
- Document functional and technical specifications throughout the SDLC, ensuring traceability and compliance with DoD and DISA standards.
- Utilize GitLab for version control, requirements tracking, and collaborative documentation of system updates.
- Affiliate with processes related to cloud data workflows, change management, and system modernization.
- Perform impact and gap analyses for new functionality or configuration changes.
- Collaborate with testing teams to validate requirements and confirm deliverables meet acceptance criteria.
Qualifications
- Active Secret Clearance (required)
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role supporting federal IT or defense programs
- Proven experience working in Agile and SDLC environments, including sprint-based delivery
- Familiarity with ServiceNow, including incident, request, and change management modules
- Experience with GitLab or similar DevOps tools for requirements tracking and documentation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into actionable technical requirements
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Knowledge of DoD cybersecurity and compliance frameworks (e.g., RMF, STIGs) is preferred
