The San Juan Unified School District is seeking a full-time English 9/12th teacher to teach 3 sections of English 3 and 2 sections of English 1 at Bella Vista High School.
Salary
The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $126,000 annually. Candidates must be internal employees to be placed on Column 5; for external candidates, the maximum placement is Column 4.
Additional Pay Opportunities
- $5,000 - $14,000 annual stipends for hard-to-staff Special Education positions
- $2,000 annual stipends for the hard-to-staff positions of counselor, social worker, and teacher librarian
- $3,000 annual stipend for advanced degrees
- $1,000 - $4,500 annual stipends for various extra-curricular activities
- $1,500 - $6,000 annual stipends for various "leadership" roles
Benefits
Benefits included are provided under the Teacher (Elementary / Secondary), Middle School & K-8 Counselor / Teacher Librarian Calendar 2, which consists of a 10-month work year with 186 days, 5 days per week, and a professional work day.
