Job Summary
Mira Loma High School is seeking a full-time teacher for multiple sections of World History, English 1, and US History. The position is open until filled and applications are accepted weekly.
About the Role
The successful candidate will teach two sections of World History, two sections of English 1, and one section of US History. The teaching schedule is subject to change based on enrollment.
Responsibilities
- Teach World History, English 1, and US History
- Adapt to changing enrollment needs
- Implement curriculum aligned with district standards
- Assess student progress and provide feedback
- Participate in professional development activities
Requirements
- Valid California teaching credential
- Experience teaching high school students
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
- Strong communication skills
Qualifications
- Advanced degree preferred
- Experience with special education students
- Knowledge of relevant educational technology

Pay
The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $126,000 annually. Candidates must be internal employees to be placed on Column 5; for external candidates, Column 4 is the maximum incoming placement.

The calendar for this position is 2 (10 Months/Year, 186 Days/Year, 5 Days/Week, Professional Work Day).
