About the role

Lakeside High School is seeking a motivated JV Volleyball Coach, who has a passion for working with high school students.

Responsibilities

• Work under the supervision of the Principal and the Head Coach in the sport that you express an interest.
• Assist the Head Coach in game techniques and strategies to prepare athletes for competition.
• Determine the need for individual or team improvement.
• Accept directions from the Head Coach at all times.
• Assist with maintaining inventory of athletic equipment.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of first aid techniques.
• Maintain locker room and playing facilities.
• Community Coaches are temporary positions and must be renewed annually.

Skills

• Excellent instructional delivery skills.
• Ability to communicate with various stakeholders.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Experience and knowledge coaching sports preferred.
• Georgia High School Association Lay Coaching Certificate required.
• Valid certificate in first aid required.
