About the role

Tucker High School is seeking a motivated Volleyball Community Coach who has a passion for working with high school students. The ideal candidate should have excellent instructional delivery skills and the ability to communicate with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Work under the supervision of the Principal and the Head Coach
• Assist the Head Coach in game techniques and strategies to prepare students for competition
• Determine the need for individual or team improvement
• Accept directions from the Head Coach at all times
• Assist with maintaining inventory of athletic equipment
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of first aid techniques
• Maintain locker room and playing facilities

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
• Experience and knowledge coaching sports preferred
• Georgia High School Association Lay Coaching Certificate required
• Valid certificate in first aid required

Community Coaches are temporary positions and must be renewed annually.
