About the role
Supervise shop personnel in the day-to-day tasks necessary for manufacturing or remanufacturing equipment according to company quality and safety standards to meet production line objectives at 10000 NW 2nd, Oklahoma City, OK 73127.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and supervise individuals and work teams in a variety of work activities.
- Evaluate efficiency of work processes and identify and implement process improvements to optimize productivity.
- Provide on-the-job skills and quality standards training to new and seasoned employees.
- Meet with teams and lead workers to inform them of daily, weekly, and monthly production goals.
- Supervise activities such as maintaining inventory levels, unloading, storage and movement of materials, and placement and loading of finished products for shipping and delivery.
- Maintain all equipment documentation throughout the complete assembly process.
- Complete DOT inspection and auxiliary reports after unit inspection.
- Plan, facilitate, and execute a weekly work schedule to optimize resources and personnel with minimal instruction.
- Perform duties of assigned employees when required, though the primary role is supervisory.
- Ensure proper safety training, regular meetings, and resources are provided to personnel to support adherence to health and safety procedures.
- All other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience
High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a supervisor, lead, or foreman is preferred. Preferred experience includes:
- Engine troubleshooting.
- Overhaul work on Series 50, Inline 53, V53, Series 55 & 60, Inline 71, V71, Series 92, Series 149, and Series 4000.
- Electronics: DDEC I, DDEC-II, DDEC-III, DDEC-IV, ATEC, WTEC, WTEC III, Allison 1000 & 2000.
- Engine, transmission, and chassis dyno operation.
- Equipment, transmission, engine modifications, and wiring.
Ability to manage complex customer situations promptly and professionally.
Physical Demands
- Frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
- Occasionally lift 65 lbs. from floor to shoulder level.
- Frequently exert push/pull force of 50 lbs. (no wheels) or 100 lbs. (with wheels).
- Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing, balancing, lifting, carrying, and reaching.
- Crawling and working in narrow spaces.
- Frequent repetitive movements (e.g., hammering, turning wrenches, screwdrivers, impact tools).
- Manual dexterity sufficient to work with fingers.
- Normal vision with or without corrective lenses.
- Exposure to cold, heat, noise, mechanical/electrical fumes, or odors.
- Occasionally required to work more than 8 hours per shift.
- Work at a minimum height of four feet off the ground.
- Ability to operate overhead cranes, mobile equipment, and motor vehicles as required.
