SEC Reporting Consultant

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and review external financial reports to support regulatory filings and investor communications.
• Ensure all reporting complies with accounting standards and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Aid in internal reporting by preparing budget updates and responding to ad hoc analysis requests.
• Support audit processes by providing documentation and coordinating with internal and external auditors.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and enhance efficiency through automation and tools.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in accounting with an active CPA license.
• Must have 3+ years of public accounting experience with exposure to external reporting.
• Strong understanding of accounting standards and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Previous experience supporting financial statement preparation for public or regulated entities is preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong technical accounting knowledge with solid research and documentation skills.
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with enterprise financial systems.

Pay

Expected starting pay rate of $70.00 to $75.00 per hour.
