Responsibilities
- Prepare and review SEC filings such as 10-K, 10-Q, and proxy statements for compliance
- Draft and review financial statement disclosures and MD&A for filings
- Cook up and reconcile financial data
- Maintain and manage the SEC filing calendar to meet submission deadlines
- Aid in XBRL tagging for filings to ensure compliance
- Support responses to SEC comment letters alongside legal and technical teams
- Collaborate with external auditors during reviews and audits
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting and active CPA certification required
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including SEC reporting at a public tech company or Big 4 firm
- Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations
- Experience with accounting systems like Oracle NetSuite and XBRL/iXBRL tagging tools
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel
- Strong organizational skills to manage deadlines and prioritize effectively
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
